When the moment is abnormal
When the actual load value calculated inside the AML becomes negative, the crane operation toward critical side (main winch hoisting up, auxiliary winch hoisting up, boom extending, boom lowering) is stopped. However, it is not stopped while the boom is retracted to the traveling posture. When all the conditions below are satisfied, the AML judges that the boom is being retracted to the traveling posture. With GT-250C-1
(1) The boom angle is 2° or less.
(2) The boom length is 10.5 m or less.
(3) The swing position is within front 10°
When the boom reaches the elevation stroke end
When the boom deviates from the boom angle range in which the extension/retraction side pressure of the elevating cylinder can be properly detected (GT-250C-1: -2.4° to 80.6°), the boom elevating operation is stopped.
In the boom angle range of 80.4° or more, when the extension/retraction side pressure of the elevating cylinder cannot be properly detected and the moment load factor becomes 100% or more, the automatic stop function by overloading (stop of boom lowering operation) is canceled.
Signal name: AML alarm relay output
When the crane is overloaded, this relay contact turns ON, and the buzzer sounds.
Relay ON (DC 24 V): The alarm buzzer sounds.
Relay OFF (DC 0 V): The alarm buzzer does not sound.

Conditions for alarming
Moment load factor < 90%
OFF
ON/OFF
While the boom lift is performed with the jib mounted (extended)
Moment load factor < 75%
90% ≤ Moment load factor < 100%
While the boom lift is performed with the jib mounted (extended), the relay output turns ON/OFF when the moment load factor becomes as follows:
75% ≤ Moment load factor < 85%
Moment load factor ≥ 100%
While the boom lift is performed with the jib mounted (extended), the relay output turns ON when the moment load factor becomes as follows:
Moment load factor ≥ 85%
