1 LOCKING/RELEASING THE SADDLE u Place the vehicle on the stand, see page 68 (POSITIONING THE VEHICLE ON THE SIDE STAND). u Insert the key (1) in the seat lock. u Turn the key (1) counter-clockwise, lift and pull the seat (2) out from behind.
To lock the saddle (2):
NOTE
Before riding, make sure that the seat (2) is properly locked.
Before lowering and locking the seat (2), make sure you have not accidentally left the key in the glove/tool kit compartments.
u Place the front part of the saddle in its
housing and lower the rear. u Press on the rear end until the lock
snaps into place.

GLOVE/TOOL KIT COMPARTMENTS To access the compartments:

u Remove the passenger saddle, see page
37 (LOCKING/RELEASING SADDLE).

Below the saddle is a handy rim lock OPT ) compartment (disc lock compartment. Simply release and remove the door (3) to access it.
