Instrument Cluster
The Instrument Cluster is a descriptive unit that gives the user various indications about the working of the tractor and its various features. It consists of the following.
Self Test Function of Instrument Cluster : When the Ignition Key is switched to ON position
•Engine RPM meter gauge pointer should move from ZERO to 3500RPM & return back to ZERO.

•Fuel gauge pointer should move from EMPTY to FULL & return back to EMPTY.
•Temperature gauge pointer should move from COLD to HOT & return back to COLD.
•All LCD segment should be ON for 2 to 3 Secs.
•After self check, fuel gauge to be updated instantaneous as per the fuel input.
•After self check, temperature gauge to be updated instantaneous as per the temp input.
•After self check, RPM gauge to be updated instantaneous as per the ENGINE SPEED input.
•After self check, LCD should display HOUR COUNTER indicator.
•All the INDICATORS on instrument panel should glow for 2 to 3 Secs.
This indicates that the electrical circuit of the instrument cluster is in proper working condition. If the LEDs fail to glow & gauges as stated above, get the cause identified and rectified from Mahindra Authorized Dealer.
Engine RPM Meter
This meter gives the number of Revolution Per Minute of the engine. To arrive at the RPM value at any given point of time, multiply the pointer reading by 100.
Example : If the reading shows 15, the actual engine RPM value = 15 x 100 = 1500.
PTO 540 RPM Mark
This mark is located in the Engine RPM Meter. It indicates Engine RPM at which the PTO shaft will rotate at 540 RPM.
LCD of Instrument Cluster :
This Liquid-Crystal display is located in the RPM meter. The functions of the LCD are displayed based on selection by using key pad switch. The functions displayed are hour counter, trip hour counter, time left for next service and clock function. By default hour counter function will be displayed.
Based on selection any one of the display will be on LCD along with respective warning indicator.
A.Hour Counter :
After ignition is ON hour meter counter will show previous hours value. It is operated by pulses coming from ECU when engine is running. Hour counter displays the cumulative engine running hours along with Hour counter warning indicator.
