a winterfr ont used, a MACK - appr oved exhaust pyr ometer must installed and closely monitor while the engine operation. NOT exceed the maximum temperatur e indicated the r line the gauge. T o r educe exhaust temperatur downshift r educe engine power and open the winterfr ont.

not permit a heavy load drive the engine above the governed speed. Operate a gear low enough allow the engine accelerate (or maintain) governed speed when applying the thr ottle.
