Cooling System Maintenance

The cooling system must maintained performing regularly scheduled maintenance outlined the Maintenance and Lubrication Manual. Cold weather operations, however , place added demands the cooling system. Prevent potential cold weather problems performing a quick check the cooling system outlined below:

• Make a general check for cooling system

• Inspect hoses and clamps for leaks and condition. T ighten hose clamps specifications (as required).

• Check coolant level. Add fresh coolant (in specified concentration) necessary .

• Check and record degree antifreeze Add antifreeze necessary obtain required protection
