Working with the machine

Note!

If the machine is generally being used for hammer operation, there is a risk that the hydraulic oil becomes contaminated quicker than usual.

Adjust the maintenance intervals for hydraulic oil and filter cartridge changes for heavy dust application.

3.4.10.1Accessory kit AHS 1

Accessory kit AHS 1 can be used to operate the adjustable boom cylinders for a hydraulically adjustable boom or for a side adjustable gooseneck boom.

To operate the adjustable boom cylinder: Push the foot pedal k down.

The adjustable boom cylinder will be extended, i.e. the attachment moves up. Push down foot pedal m

The adjustable boom cylinder will be retracted, i.e. the attachment moves down.

3.4.10.2Accessory kit AHS 11

With accessory kit AHS 11, only one additional user can be operated, i. e. one working tool (such as the hydraulic hammer) can be operated with the gooseneck boom.

A suitable operating mode can be selected using switch S241. The switch has three positions:

Press switch to position 0.

The auxiliary user with high pressure is activated (e.g. sorting grapple, scrap cutter).

Both foot pedals m and k full oil flow, right pedal k is pressure reduced. Move switch to position 1 (center position).

The auxiliary user with high pressure is activated (e.g. sorting grapple, scrap cutter).

The indicator light H196 lights up.

Both foot pedals m and k full oil flow and full pressure. Move switch to position 2 (final position).

The auxiliary user with reduced pressure (e.g. hydraulic hammer, ram) is activated.

The indicator light H196 turns off.

The indicator light in the switch lights up.

The right foot pedal k is pressure and flow reduced, the left foot pedal m full oil flow and pressure.

Operate the attachment using pedals m and k

Push foot pedal k down: Scrap cutter or sorting grapple will be closed. - or -

The hydraulic hammer is activated. Push foot pedal m down: Scrap cutter or sorting grapple will be opened.

3.4.10.3Accessory kit AHS 12

With accessory kit AHS 12, two additional users can be operated, i. e. the adjustable boom cylinder and one working tool (such as the hydraulic hammer) can be operated.

A suitable operating mode can be selected using switch S241. The switch has three positions:

Press switch to position 0

The adjustable boom cylinder is activated. The attachment can be lowered or raised via the foot pedals m and k Move switch to position 1 (center position).

The auxiliary user with high pressure is activated (e.g. sorting grapple, scrap cutter).

The indicator light H196 lights up. Both foot pedals m and k full oil flow and full pressure.
