To bring the support into a road travel position:

Retract the outrigger support to the stop. Fold the hinged support feet of the outriggers inward.

If installed, fold the step 1 up and secure. Push the blade support up to the stop. Attach additional rear reflectors 2 on the left and right hand side on the blade and secure.

Before starting to travel:

To turn off the control for the working hydraulics: Push switch S35 up. The indicator light in the switch turns off. The joysticks do not function. The sensor controlled low idle automatic is deactivated. Switch the automatic oscillating axle lock S75 to position 0

3.3.6Towing the machine

Danger! Risk of injury!

Use a suitably sized towbar to tow the machine. Do not use a rope.

Towing the machine is problematic and is always carried out at the owner's risk.

The machine should only be towed in exceptional circumstances, e.g. to move the machine away from a dangerous place for repair.

Damages or accidents, which occur when the machine is towed, are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty under any circumstances.

The towing rod must be attached to the tow coupling provided on the undercarriage. The following values should not not be exceeded when towing:

Towing preparations depend on the function of the parking brake, diesel engine, controls and hydraulic system.

The parking brake must be released when towing.

Towing with the diesel engine running: Press switch S16 down. Indicator light in the switch goes out. Parking brake is released.

If the parking brake cannot be released, solenoid valve Y6 might have failed. In this case, screw in the valve by hand (emergency operation).

Screw in the T-handle on solenoid valve Y6.

The machine can be driven using the travelling pedal and travelling direction switch, or towed by a tow truck.

The machine can be slowed down with the operating brake (foot pedal) and steered with the assistance of the servo steering.

Towing when there are electrical faults:

The parking brake cannot be opened using the solenoid valve if there is no on-board voltage or the electronics have failed. In this case, the transmission must be mechanically uncoupled for towing (see Fig. 3-42).

Towing when the diesel engine is not running:

The parking brake cannot be released when the diesel engine is not running. In this case, the transmission must be mechanically uncoupled for towing (see Fig. 3-42).
