Press rocker switch S263 up b The indicator light H168 lights up. Slowly press travel pedal 7 down.
3.3.4.6Travelling downhill
The machine is equipped with an automatic brake valve, which prevents the hydraulic drive train from overspeeding.
Danger!
Before travelling downhill, turn the sensor controlled low idle automatic S20 off.
Travel downhill with maximum Diesel engine RPM. Regulate the speed using the travelling pedal.
3.3.4.7Travelling on downhill grades of more than 10%
Caution!
Applying the operating brake does not ensure safe parking on a downhill slope (loss of pressure due to leakage is possible).
Before leaving the cab and / or shutting down the machine, apply the parking brake S16
Raise the safety lever.
Always use the 1st gear to travel downhill slopes of more than 10%.
Before travelling downhill, stop and engage the 1st gear.
3.3.5Travelling on public roads
Note!
Travelling on public roads is subject to national regulations. Before starting to travel, inform yourself about local requirements. Observe all regulations and conditions.
In Germany, for example, the following safety devices must be carried in accordance with the motor vehicle C.U.R. and the conditions in the exception authorization:
Before travelling on a public road, carry out the following tasks and checks:
Clean the machine of all coarse dirt.
Clean the tire treads.
Empty the digging equipment. Close all doors and the covers.
Turn the uppercarriage in the direction of travel (attachment over steering or oscillating axle) and lock to the undercarriage with the locking pin (see chapter Uppercarriage lock).

To bring the attachment into a road travel position:
Fully extend the hydraulic cylinder 1 and retract the boom adjustment cylinder 2 fully.
Tilt in the bucket and pull the stick as close as possible to the uppercarriage.

On undercarriage with 2 point outriggers: Attach the grapple to the grapple bar. On undercarriage with 4 point outriggers: Place the grapple with the aid of tension ropes 3 on the undercarriage, do not remove the ropes while travelling.
Tilt the connecting link 4 up.
Secure the connecting clip 4 with two screws.
