Setting the machine into operation

Switching on control system

Press the button S183 The indicator light in the button S183 lights. The keyboard and the monitoring display complete a self-test. Check all indicators and instruments for proper functioning. All indicator lights must be briefly on, except the LED of the switch S22 The LIEBHERR logo is displayed.

After the self-test is completed, the next service task deadline is displayed for 10 seconds.

Check the next service task deadline. See chapter 3 "Main screen".

Note!

If no self-test of the keyboard and the monitoring display is performed: Check that the immobiliser has been deactivated. See chapter 3 "Immobiliser (option)".

Emergency operation (option)

Set the battery main switch S9 (on the heating box behind the operator's cab) to position 1

Press the button S209.

The yellow indicator light in the button S209 lights. The green indicator light H358 lights.

If the collector temperature exceed the set point, the main supply circuit is switched off and the indicators go out.

3.3.3Starting the electric motor

Starting procedure at temperatures below -18°C (0 °F)

Ensure that the machine is fitted with one or several of the optional Liebherr cold starting aids. See chapter 3 "Starting aids".

Starting procedure at temperatures below -25°C (-13 °F)

The motor does not start.

Starting procedure

Make sure that the following preconditions are met: The safety lever is in the upper position. The joysticks and pedals are in the neutral position. Warn all people present before starting the machine: operate the horn. Everyone has to leave the danger zone

Attention!

Inappropriate use! Damages.

Only press the switch S181 when the motor is stopped.

Press the button I of the motor supply circuit.

OR Press the switch S181 by

The indicator light in the switch lights up. The motor starts.

The light H10 switches on: the hydraulic system is ready for operation. Wait for 5 seconds.

The motor reaches the specified operating motor speed.
