Remove the counterweight 4 with the additional counterweight 5

Screw appropriate eye bolts on the counterweight 4. Fix the lifting slings on them. Move the counterweight 4

Check the tightening torque of the mounting bolts 15 of the counterweight shell 3 on the uppercarriage 14 (M36 - 10.9; tightening torque 3300 N.m / 2430 ft.lbs).
CASE A:
Fix the lifting plate 9 on the counterweight 4. Fix the lifting slings on them. respecting the recommendations.
If your machine is fitted with an additional counterweight 5: 4 on the additional counterweight 5 8 (M36 - 10.9; tightening torque 3300 N.m / 2430 ft.lbs).
Let the lifting slings on the lifting plate 9
CASE B without additional counterweight:
Fix the lifting plate 9 on the counterweight 4. Fix the lifting slings on them. respecting the recommendations.
CASE B with additional counterweight:
Screw appropriate eye bolts on the counterweight 4. Fix the lifting slings on them.
Position the counterweight 4 on the additional counterweight 5.
Engage and tighten the counterweight mounting bolts 8 (M36 - 10.9; tightening torque 3300 N.m / 2430 ft.lbs).
Fix the lifting slings on the eye bolts 6 fitted on the additional counterweight 5.
Counterweight installation:
Position the counterweight under the uppercarriage.
Before the counterweight 4 contact with the uppercarriage, screw by hand the mounting bolts 7
Lift up the counterweight to the stop and tighten the mounting bolts 7 (M36 - 10.9; tightening torque 3300 N.m / 2430 ft.lbs).
3.10Transport
Investigate the travel route.
Danger!
Drive with increased caution under obstacles, particularly electrical lines.
Respect the safety instructions and local circulation legislation.
If required, adapt the machine, its vehicle, the lifting gears and lashing materials to the restrictions about the load, the height, the length and the width of the convoy.
Make sure that the whole machine can be transported by checking the maximal authorized load of the vehicle.
When restarting the machine, proceed according to the operating manual instructions.
3.10.1Lifting an High-Rise machine
Due to its dimensions and its weight, the machine has to be dismantled into suitable parts which can be lifted with a crane.
Specific process for the High-Rise machines
Danger!
Hazard due to hot machine parts! The exhaust silencer must be dismantled by a professional.
In case of a machine with a Diesel engine, dismantle the exhaust silencer to use the lifting device on the uppercarriage.
