PARTS & ACCESSORIES Your vehiclehas been designed, manufacturedand provento cope with the most rigorousdrivingconditions.As such, fittingpartsand accessoriesthat havebeen developedand testedto the samestringent standardsis essentialto guaranteethe continuedreliability,safetyand performance of the vehicle. To augmentthe vehicle’salreadyawesome ability,a comprehensiveand versatilerangeof qualitysparepartsand accessoriesare availableto fulfila widevarietyof roles,both enhancingand protectingthe vehiclein the many tasksto whichit can be applied. GenuineLand Roverpartsarethe ONLYparts builtto originalequipmentspecificationsAND approvedby Land Roverdesigners;this meansthat everysinglepartand accessory has been rigorouslytestedby the same engineeringteamthat designedand builtthe vehicleand, with the exceptionof maintenanceitemsthat aredesignedto be replacedsooner,is warrantedas providedin the Passportto Service. A fulllistand descriptionof allaccessoriesis availablefrom your Land Roverretailer. It is recommendedthat you alwaysconsulta Land Roverretailerfor adviceregardingthe approval,suitability,installationand use of any partsor accessoriesbeforefitting. WARNING Do not fit unapproved accessoriesor conversions,as they could affect the safety of the vehicle. Land Roverwill not accept any liability for death, personalinjuryor damage to propertywhich may occuras a directresult of fitment of non-approvedaccessoriesor the carryingout of non-approved conversionsto Land Rovervehicles. Customersmust not make any modifications to the suspensionor steeringsystem.This could seriouslyaffect the handling and stabilityof the vehicleleading to loss of controlor rollover. Do not fit oversizetyresor body/suspension lift kits- this could seriouslyaffect vehicle handling and stability.

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

WARNING It is extremelyhazardous to fit, or replace, partsor accessorieswhose installation requiresthe dismantling of, or addition to, either the electricalor fuel systems,as damage to the proper operation of these systemscould result.

CAUTION ALWAYS consultyour Land Roverretailer before fitting any electricalaccessory. Fitting inferiorquality partsor accessories may be dangerous and could invalidate the vehiclewarranty.

SRS/AIRBAG

WARNING The componentsthat make up the SRS/airbagare sensitiveto electricalor physicalinterference,either of which could easilydamage the systemand cause inadvertentoperation or a malfunction of the airbag module. For your safetyand to preventany SRS/airbagmalfunction,ALWAYS consulta Land Roverretailerbefore fitting any of the following. • Electronicequipment such as a mobile phone, two-wayradio or in-car entertainment system. • Accessoriesattached to the front or side of the vehiclesuch as a winch or brushbar. • Any modification to the front or side of the vehicle,including the bumper or chassis. • Any modification involvingthe removal or repairof any wiring or component in the vicinityof any of the SRS components(yellowwiring harness), including: the steeringwheel, steering column,front seats,instrumentand fasciapanels. • Any modification to the fasciapanels, steeringwheel or front seats. • Removeal,replacementor retrimmingof a front seat or seat cover. WARNING Onlyuse Land Roverapproved seat covers for use with seats fitted with side airbag modules.The use of non-approvedseat coverswill REDUCEor ELIMINATE the effectivenessof the side airbagsin the event of a crashcondition.

TRAVELLINGABROAD In certaincountries,it is illegalto fit parts whichhavenot been made to the vehicle manufacturer’sspecification. Ownersshould ensurethat any partsor accessoriesfittedto the vehiclewhilst travellingabroad,willalsoconformto the legalrequirementsof theirown countrywhen they returnhome.
