Results: • If amperage is below specification, cargo box motor is ok, or if unit does not raise, check for stripped gears or worn clutch. •
If amperage is zero, check control circuit or fusible link.
• If control circuit and fusible link are ok, and motor will not run, thermal protector or motor maybe defective. Replace motor. • If amperage is above specification, check cargo box for binding or gears, worm gear, or bearings causing an excessive load.
Procedure: 1. Machine parked safely. See “Parking Safely” on page 3 of Safety section.

Repair or replace cargo box actuator.
2. Cargo box raised and locked. 3. Battery fully charged and key in run position. A

4. Disconnect negative battery cable and connect JT05792 shunt (A) between battery post (B) and battery cable (C). 5. Connect shunt leads (D) to JT05791 multimeter, red to volt ohm receptacle, black to com. 6. Set meter to the DC milli-volt scale. Each millivolt on meter reading represents 1 amp. 7. Raise box and observe meter reading. 8. Lower box and observe meter reading.
