Some symptoms may indicate an expensive component malfunction, when in fact a fuse has malfunctioned. Machine functions can be performed without test equipment to determine if fuses have malfunctioned. If certain circuits or components operate, fuses are considered to be OK.

Results of Fuse Malfunction
F1—Horn Relay 5 A Fuse (marked HORN)
Press horn switch. If horn operates, fuse is OK. Horn does not operate.
F2—Monitor, Radio 5 A Fuse (marked MONITOR B, RADIO)
Fuel level and engine temperature gauge does With key switch in OFF position and key removed, press menu switch on monitor. If fuel not display on monitor. and temp gauge display on monitor, fuse is OK.
F3—Work Light Relay 25 A Fuse (marked LIGHT)
With key switch in ON position, press work light Cab and boom lights do not operate. switch. If cab light or boom light operate, fuse is OK.
F6—Starter Relay, ECU (start signal) 5 A Fuse (marked START)
Turn key switch to START. If engine cranks, fuse is OK.
Engine does not crank.
F7—Air Conditioner Compressor/Blower Motor 25 A Fuse (marked A/C)
Turn key switch ON. Press blower speed switch. If blower operates in any speed, fuse is OK.
Heater or air conditioner blower will not operate.
F8—Radio, Wiper, Washer Switch 10 A Fuse (marked WIPER, WASHER)
Turn key switch ON. Turn windshield wiper ON. If wiper operates, fuse is OK.
Windshield wiper does not operate.
F9—Travel Solenoid 5 A Fuse (marked TRAVEL, ILLUMI)
Start machine. Press travel speed switch to fast Travel speed does not change to FAST mode. position. If machine operates in FAST mode, fuse is OK.
F10—12-Volt Power Outlet 20 A Fuse (marked POWER SOCKET)
Check with multimeter.
Power outlet does not operate.
F11—Monitor Accessory 5 A Fuse (marked MONITOR ACC)
Turn key switch ON. Turn light switch to ON position. If cab light or boom work light operate, fuse is OK.
Cab and boom lights do not operate.
F12—Air Conditioner Panel 5 A Fuse (marked A/C PANEL, CAB)
Turn key switch ON. Press blower speed switch. If blower operates in any speed, fuse is OK.
Heater or air conditioner blower will not operate.
F13—Accessory Light Switch Harness 20 A Fuse (marked CAB SOCKET)
Check with multimeter.
Accessory light switch does not operate.
