3.5.7 CHECK LIST: Unrigging 22 m (72 ft) two-stage swing-away lattice extension

2. Fully retract and set down main boom.

3. 4. 6. Remove anemometer (additional equipment); à Anemometer on the lattice extension, p.3-74.

7. Lower lattice extension until it is on the ground with the supports on the head of the 9 m (30 ft) section, remove hoist rope from head sheave and deflection sheaves and place on the left side of the lattice extension on the ground.

8. Disconnect the electrical connection between the 9 m (30 ft) and 12.5 m (41 ft) sections; à 22 m (72 ft) two-stage swing-away lattice extension, p.3-66.

9. Fold in both deflection sheaves; à Folding out/in the deflection sheaves on the 12.5m (41ft) section, p.3-68.

10. Reel up hoist rope up to the main boom head. H

If the 9 m (30 ft) section needs to be removed and only the 12.5 m (41 ft) section at the side of the main boom needs to be folded, see Point 15.

11. Attach the guide rope to the 9 m (30 ft) section of the lattice extension.
