3.11 Maintenance plan

HAll general notes, safety rules and information on environmental protection contained in the Maintenance manual of the GMK 5200/6220-L, Chapters 1 and 2, apply when carrying out this maintenance work. In addition, the following maintenance plans apply to the maintenance plans of the same name in the Maintenance manual of the GMK 5200/6220-L. The same abbreviations are used in the Maintenance manual of the GMK 5200/6220-L (e.g. Oh = Operating hours).

HThe lubricant chart in the following table applies to the maintenance of the two-stage swing-away lattice extension. If the table of lubricants in the Maintenance manual of the GMK 5200/6220-L contains other lubricants under the same designation, use only those lubricants in this table for the twostage swing-away lattice extension.

3.13 Maintenance work

3.13.1 Modules in need of protection during cleaning work

Provide protection for the following electrical parts during cleaning work:

1Electric control box with plug connections

2Angle sensor control box

3Angle sensor control box

4Pressure sensors

HAlso observe all instructions contained in the chapter titled Cleaning work of the Maintenance manual for the GMK 5200/6220-L.

3.13.2 Lubricating joint on 12.5 m (41 ft) section

The joints on both sides of the 12.5 m (41 ft) section are each lubricated via a lubricating nipple (1) at the pivot point.

• Use only lubricating grease according to the maintenance plan; à p.3-103.

• Clean the lubricating nipple and lubricate it with a grease gun.

• Also lubricate the joint on the other side.

3.13.3 Lubricate derricking cylinder in 12.5 m (41 ft) section

The derricking cylinder in the 12.5 m (41 ft) section is lubricated on the head and foot axle via a lubricating nipple (1).

• Use only lubricating grease according to the maintenance plan; à p.3-103.

• Clean the lubricating nipple and lubricate it with a grease gun.
