3.5.5 CHECK LIST: Unrigging 13 m (43 ft) swing-away lattice extension

HThis checklist is not equivalent to complete operating instructions. There are accompanying instructions which are indicated by cross-references. Observe the warning and safety information given there!

1. Prepare the truck crane for unrigging; à Preparing the truck crane for rigging, p.3-33.

2. Fully retract and set down boom.

3. Enter the SLI code according to the Lifting capacity table for the actual rigging mode of the truck crane with the 13 m (43 ft) swing-away lattice extension; à GMK 5200/6220-L operating instructions, Part 2, Chapter Crane operation, Section Operation of the safe load indicator – Setting the rigging mode.

4. Remove lifting limit switch weight and moving lifting limit switch from the head of the 12.5 m (41 ft) section to the head of the main boom; à Lifting limit switch on the lattice extension, p.3-72.

5. Unreeve the hoist rope from the hook block and roll it onto a drum; à GMK 5200/6220-L operating instructions, Part 2, Chapter Rigging work, Section Rigging work on the main boom – Reeving and unreeving the hoist rope.

7. Lower lattice extension until it is on the ground with the supports on the head of the 12.5 m (41 ft) section, remove hoist rope from head sheave and deflection sheaves and place on the left side of the lattice extension on the ground.

8. Fold in both deflection sheaves; à Folding out/in the deflection sheaves on the 12.5m (41ft) section, p.3-68.

9. Reel up hoist rope up to the main boom head.

10. Move run-up rail into the Unrigging position; à Run-up rail , p.3-63.

11. Remove locking pin between 12.5 m (41 ft) section and main boom head on the left side of the main boom; à Connections on the main boom head, p.3-53. à Relieving the load on bearing points, p.3-53.

12. Remove locking pin between 12.5 m (41 ft) section and main boom head on the right side of the main boom; à Connections on the main boom head, p.3-53.
