18. Install the anemometer and if necessary establish an electrical connection for the air traffic control light; à Installing/removing the anemometer, p.4-83, à Air traffic control light – electrical connection, p.4-85.

19. Install the lifting limit switch; à Installing/removing the lifting limit switch, p.4-80.

23. Check the horizontal alignment of the truck crane and correct, if necessary.

24. Enter the current rigging mode with the rigged swing-away lattice; à Setting the SLI, p.4-99.

4.3.5 CHECKLIST: Rigging the 18 m (59 ft) swing-away lattice

HThis checklist is not a complete set of operating instructions. There are accompanying operating instructions which are referred to by crossreferences. Observe the warnings and safety instructions there.

1. Rigging the truck crane:

–Rig the truck crane according to CHECKLIST: Rigging; à Operating instructions GMK5130-2/5110-1.

–Before crane operation, check according to CHECKLIST: Checks before crane operation; à Operating instructions GMK5130-2/5110-1.

–Retract the main boom completely and lower it into the horizontal position.

–Roll the unused hoist rope on to drum.

2. Check the transport condition of the swing-away lattice; à Transport condition with folded swing-away lattice, p.4-42.

3. For derricking swing-away lattice:

–Check to see if the locking device is released on the hose drum; à p.4-45.

–Position hydraulic hoses for working with the lattice extension; à p.4-46.

4. For derricking swing-away lattice, establish a hydraulic connection; à p.4-47.

5. Establish the electrical connection; à p.4-73.
