Basic System Settings The Basic System Settings screen contains parameters involving basic computer settings and hardware information.
The following table describes the parameters in this screen. Settings in boldface are the default and suggested parameter settings.
Parameter Date
Description Sets the system date. Format: DDD MMM DD YYYY (day-of-the-week month day year)
Time
Sets the system time. Format: HH:MM:SS (hour:minute:second)
Floppy Drive A
Shows the floppy disk drive type (1.44MB 3.5-inch).
Hard Disk
Sets the hard disk type. Options: Auto, User or None. When set to Auto, the computer automatically detects the hard disk information (cylinders, heads, sectors/ tracks and maximum capacity). When set to User, you need to input these information manually.
Note: We suggest you set Hard Disk to [Auto] for problem-free and correct detection of the hard disk.
