Recommended Lubricants Where transmissions are concerned, lubricant is possibly the most important part of keeping a vehicle operating. Lubricants which meet the Eaton E500 (PS-164) specification are required in the AutoShift transmission. Lubricant must be approved by Eaton Corporation to qualify for the 5/750,000 warranty.
