16.Dangerous loads (exhaust heated body

If the body is exhaust heated, dangerous loads such as explosives or inflammable materials like petrols, oils etc. must not be transported.

In some countries there may be special national regulations for transportation of dangerous loads.

To blind off the exhaust heating, do as follows:

• Always allow the dump truck to cool down before changing exhaust direction.

1.Remove the clamps on both the vertical exhaust pipe and the pipe which goes to the body. 2.Remove the plate which gives heating to the body (in the vertical exhaust pipe). 3.Remove the ring from the pipe which goes to the body and install it into the vertical exhaust pipe. 4.Install the plate which blind the exhaust to the body (in the pipe which goes to the body) 5.Refit the clamps.
