4. Remove brush covers, blow dust off brushes and commutator with moisture-free compressed air.

0! CAUTION REDUCE AIR PRESSURE BELOW 30 PSI, WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT WHEN CLEANING WITH COMPRESSED AIR.

Inspect brushes and commutator for any unusual wear, arcing, pitting, etc. Refer to GROUP 16, Section 1 for proper condition of brushes and commutator. After checking, install cover on motor case.

5. Torque pump mounting bolts to specs listed below.

A. Lift & Tilt Pump (50 N'm) or 37 lb. ft. B. Steer Pump (40-45 N'm) or 29-33 lb. ft.

2. If the battery cable is not already disconnected, do so at this time. Fig. 19970
