Attention!

The baler can be connected to all tractors which are fitted with a standard hydraulics system.

Tractor with continuous flow hydraulic system or with Load Sensing system without "Power

Beyond"

Attention!

Activating functions via Claas Communicator while hydraulic circuit is not yet pressurised: ñVery serious injury ñExtensive damage to bale wrapper ☞Ensure that Claas Communicator is switched off before starting tractor engine. ☞Ensure that Claas Communicator is switched off before pressurising hydraulic circuit.

☞Always start up Claas Communicator after first starting tractor engine and pressurising hydraulic circuit.

ñConnect up coupler (P) to a distributor on tractor. ñSlacken screw (V) on hydraulic block as far as possible, in order to activate baler's pressure compensation. ñConnect up coupler (T): ñto unpressurised male stud adapter (direct instroke to tank) if tractor allows it (greasing of gearbox is assured). ñto dual action distributor on tractor.

Attention!

If tractor has an adjustable flow distributor, set flow to between 35 and 50 l/min. If tractor does not have an adjustable flow distributor, make sure that flow does not exceed 50 l/min.

ñConnect up coupler (P) to a continuous flow distributor on tractor.

ñSet flow to 50 l/min.

ñTighten screw (V) on hydraulic block as far as possible, in order to block baler's pressure compensation.

Attention!

Tractor's hydraulic pump ceases to function as soon as system is depressurised.

ñConnect up coupler (T) to T-piece union (unpressurised instroke) on tractor.

Attention!

Load Sensing hose pipe (LS, signal for functioning hydraulics) is not used for this particular connection system.
