7 Assembly UNLOADING/LOADING THE MACHINE DANGER! Improper lifting and transporting involves risk of accidents! – Ensure that the lifting gear (e.g. slings) is sufficiently dimensioned. Machine weight – see Specifications, page 6.1.
ATTACHING MACHINE FOR THE FIRST TIME Before using the machine for the first time, the hitching points and the universal drive shaft must be matched to the tractor. 1. Check the package list against the delivery note. 2. Assemble the machine according to the assembly manual. 3. Hitch up the machine, and adjust the hitching points if necessary – see Hitching to the tractor, page 8.2. 4. Adjust and connect the universal drive shaft – see Universal drive shaft, page 8.4. 5. Connect the hydraulic hoses – see Hydraulic connections, page 8.10. 6. Carry out the operations described in Items to check and observe before operation on page 8.1. 7. Put machine into operation – see Field operation, page 9.1.
