Operator Display & Keystrokes

The Bank Waterspray feature can be used by the operator in two different ways. The operator can manually enter the start and end points (this allows a spray area to be at any location on the face) or the operator can use the Group Select keys and select a group of 10 or 20 adjacent shields. Shields that are part of a Bank Waterspray post the Last Auto Fct as "Bank Spray".

From this display, the following actions can be taken:

Press Results

Selects a group of 10 shields to the left and triggers a waterspray function on each.

Selects a group of 10 shields to the right and triggers a waterspray function on each.

Selects a group of 20 shields to the left and triggers a waterspray function on each.

Selects a group of 20 shields to the right and triggers a waterspray function on each.

Triggers a waterspray function based on existing parameter values shown in the display. Often the values are entered by the operator just prior to using this key; this is done by scrolling right from the Bank Waterspray display and manually changing the values.

Keystroke Details

From the default display, the operator scrolls right twice to reach the Bank Waterspray display.

“xxx” and “yyy” are the beginning and ending shields that are selected. “xxx” and “yyy” may be invalid (~~~) when the Bank Waterspray display is first shown; they are filled in when the Group Select key is pressed or when values are entered manually. The values are retained and do not revert back to invalid when Key-time expires after the Start key is pressed. “d” is the direction indicator (< or >). The direction determines whether xxx or yyy is the beginning or ending shield. If the shield has multiple spray functions, the “typestring” will be shown to indicate which watersprays will be operated. Possibilities are: Curtain

If the operator likes the beginning and ending shield selections shown and the waterspray type selection, it is only necessary to press the Start key and the Bank Waterspray operation will be triggered on those shields.

If the operator wants to change the beginning and ending shield selections or the spray type selection, they can be entered manually; optionally an adjacent group of shields can be selected.

Manually Enter Parameters Scrolling into the Bank Waterspray options (Menu Right key) will reveal the Bank Waterspray parameters which can be entered as normal parameters (using the Enter key and number keys). After the parameters are entered, the Menu Left key will shift back to the Bank Waterspray display.

Does not look good… I will manually enter parameter values… then….

Batch Operation Rather than manually entering the start and end points, from the Bank Waterspray display the operator can use the Group Select keys to select a group of 10 shields to one side. When the Group Select key is pressed, the Begin and End parameters will be changed and will be shown in the Bank Waterspray display.

I just want to spray on 10 shields to the left
