Initiate an adjacent flipper group WARNING Mine safety procedures in regards to shield movement MUST be observed.

to select Flipper Operation.

Select the side you want the function to operate with the Extend or Retract

In this example the ‘G’ key was pressed in No.16 Shield to select the adjacent flipper group. The display informs the operator that the currently selected group is shields 21 to 17 and the sequence will start at 21 and work towards 17.

WARNING If Anti-Collision is inactive it is possible to extend and retract the flippers in the shearer zone.
