Ordering data and suppliers for the special tools, operating and other materials are listed in Chapter 8.1.
The heat exchanger should be visually checked for accumulated dirt (pollution). If dirt is found then it should be removed as follows: • Use an industrial vacuum cleaner to remove coarse dirt from the air intake side
• Use service cover on ventilation channel to remove fine dust by blowing it out with compressed air from blower side (dry, free of grease). The compressed air should be lightly swept over the cooler (do not concentrate just on one point) and must be in parallel with the fins so that they are not damaged. The maximum pressure of the compressed air may not exceed 8 bar.
At longer intervals (approx. R2 - overhaul), it may be necessary to clean using water. The following points should be carefully observed: • Clean with water preferably with the main blower removed
• Use high-pressure cleaner for cleaning with a maximum pressure of 50 bar.
