MACHINERY HOUSE

The machinery house rotates using swing motor assemblies that engage a 360º circular segmented rack gear assembly mounted on the Tub. The machinery house contains the main powered elements of this machine:

- Hoist and Drag machinery, including eight separate motors, two gearcases, and one drum per machinery unit.

- Swing machinery, including eight separate motor and gear packages.

- Propel machinery, including two separate motors, two gearcases, and one walking assembly for each side.
