4. TORQUE CONVERTER TEMPERATURE GAUGE- Indicates operating temperature of the oil in the the torque converter. The gauge needle should register in the Green Zone on the gauge. If the gauge needle rises into the red zone - PLACE THE TRANSMISSION IN
NEUTRAL, IDLE THE ENGINE UNTIL THE GAUGE NEEDLE
RETURNS TO THE GREEN ZONE. One of the causes of converter oil overheating is operating too long at stall speed.
5. FUEL GAUGE - Indicates amount of fuel in the fuel tank.
6. ENGINE TEMPERATURE GAUGE - The gauge needle will register between 180° F. to 230° F. when the engine is at correct operatemperature.
7. ENGINE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE - The engine oil pressure gauge should register be\ween 40 to 50 PSI when the engine is warm and running at full governed speed. When low or no oil pressure is indicated on the gauge, stop the engine and check for the cause of low oil pressure.
8. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE GAUGE - Extra Equipment -
Indicates the pressure in the hydraulic system when the Loader engine is opera ting. 9. AMMETER - When the engine is first started, the ammeter should show a charging rate and gradually fall back as the battery becomes charged. If the lights are turned on, the charging rate should increase automatically to take care of the additional load.
When the action of the ammeter is different as described above (discharged reading) it is an indication that the alternator, regulator Qr batteries should be inspected,· or tested.
10. CIGARETTE LIGHTER - Push lighter element fully in to light.
Lighter element will remain in socket until lit, then pops out to normal position.
11. KEY SWITCH - Combination four position switch. The four positions are ACCESSORY,OFF,RUN AND START -The Loader will not start without the key.
12. LIGHT SWITCH - Pull the light switch out to first position to turn on headlights, instrument panel lights and red tail lights. When brake pedal is depressed, red tail lights should brighten. Pull the light switch out to second position to turn on headlights, instrument panel lights and rear lights.
