VI. Service and maintenance

F. Correct manual greasing When greasing, ensure that the breaker stands upright and the tool is pushed to highest position. Turn off the engine and wait for 10 minutes so that breaker oil pressure can drop and the grease can penetrate downwards between tool and bushes.

IMPORTANT! While greasing, make sure that the tool is kept to the highest position inside housing, so that you can prevent grease piling at the percussion chamber between piston and tool. If not, breaker may lose power and seal failure may occur, subsequently causing oil leakage. IMPORTANT! Greasing must be done until the grease is clearly visible on the tool underneath housing as illustrated on the left.

NOTE! 1. Above number of pumping and grease volume are a recommendation purpose only. Required grease volume and output volume from grease gun can be different by age of breaker and parts, breaking material type, job site environment, type of grease and grease gun, etc. Therefore the operator has a full responsibility to apply a sufficient amount of grease that his specific breaking job requires. 2. Grease volume per day is based on 8 working hours.
