Upper hood ENGINE HOODS
988 Series
PG02927 Raise the hood fully, using the handle.
788 Series
CK96A002 To keep the hood in the open position, pull the stay out of its clip and place it in the hole provided for that purpose. When closing it, put the stay back in its clip.
WARNING: Always put the hood stay in place when the hood is open.
PG03606 The right-hand gas strut is equipped with a locking system.
To close the hood, press the unlocking device and tilt the hood downward.
WARNING: Before undertaking any travel, make sure the hood is properly locked.
WARNING: Make sure the hood is correctly locked before undertaking any machine travel.
IMPORTANT: Never close the hood without unlocking the gas strut, as this may cause damage. NOTE: To lock the hood, use the starter key switch.
