OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
After engine warm-up, enable the pilot controls by pushing down on the right hand side of the switch on the instrument control panel. Apply and hold the foot brake, and cycle all hy dr au lic fu n ctio n s se ve ra l time s . In s ev e re co ld w e a th e r conditions, the hydraulic functions may be slow to respond. Cycling all th e hydraulic system fun ctions seve ral times will war m th e hyd raulic o il and the h ydra ulic system components.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT operate the machine on the road until the transmission oil and axle oil have been correctly warmed up. Operate the machine in a clear safe area before road operation.
The hydraulic steering can become slow in seve re cold wea th er conditions. Cycle the steering from full right to left a minimum of 3 to 5 times before you drive the machine. NOTE: Make sure there is clearance around the machine before steering the machine from right to left. In severe cold weather conditions the brakes response can be slow. The u se o f correct oi l in th e hydraulic/brake system is required. Even with the correct oil in the hydraulic/brake system the first few times the brakes are actuated there may be some de lay be fo re th e brakes are applied. The operator must actuate the brake pedal a minimum of 8 to 10 times before the machine is moved.
7. If the machine has been left idling in cold temperature, the engine will stay warm. But the hydraulic/brake oil and the axle oil will not stay warm. The oil and components can become cold and slow brake fun ctio n r es po n se tim e. If this s h o u ld h a p p e n y o u M U S T g o throu gh the complete mac hin e warm-up procedure. 8. The transmission is equipped with internal protection that does not allow the transmission to engage be low -12°C (10°F). If th e tra nsmission d oe s no t e ng ag e below these temperatures, allow 2 to 4 minutes of running in neutral (this time will vary with temperature), then try again.

When the m achine has been correctly warmed up, apply the foot bra ke an d ho ld, sh ift th e transmission to forward push the park brake to the Off position and release the foot brake. Operate the ma c h in e in a c le a r s a f e a r e a . Check th e full operation of th e machin e. D O NOT ope rate th e machine in third or fourth gear until the transmission oil and axle oil have been warmed u p and th e machine moves freely.
6. MACHINE WARM-UP - Once the engine has started, run the engine at half thro ttle (1 10 0 to 1 30 0 RPM) for a minimum of 10 minutes under no load. This will help warm the hydraulic oil and the transmission oil.
