SLUG DAMAGE & CONTROL

TRAMAT

A selective herbicide designed to control certain weeds in non clover stands of annual, Italian & perennial ryegrass. Can be used in newly sown or established ryegrass pastures.

Hewitt & Whitty have trialed Tramat and results have shown it to: Increase winter production by nearly 2,000kg of DM/ha across 2 grazings on multiple sites.

Apply Tramat early in the season, ideally before weeds have emerged.

In recent years, slugs have proven to do immense damage to newly sown pastures. At Hewitt and Whitty we have a range of baits varying in actives, rainfastness and price.

Monitor the paddock 2 weeks prior to planting and for up to 8 weeks after planting. Talk to our agronomists about tailoring a slug bait program to suit your needs.
