Geoﬀ RedpathMemorial Trophy,while about100 ladies (plus one lucky man) donned their fabulous pink outﬁts for Flourish event in the beautifully set marquee.

Fraser Coast Mates was formed about seven yearsago from a tragedywhen a groupof heart-brokenmates, who lost their good friend and local businessman Geoﬀ Redpathto suicide, came together.

The huge impact thatwas felt throughout the community promptedGeoﬀ's wife Kim and some of his closest mates, to organise a golf dayfor the ﬁrstanniversaryof his passing, wearinghis favourite-coloured pink shirt, as a wayof remembering him and to also bringawareness and conversation to men's mental health and wellbeing.

“The dayraised over$30,000 thatgo will go towardscounselling supportfor people who need urgenthelp and mental health awareness initiatives.”

The role helps to promote resources, activities, and educationthroughvarious social media platforms, with the hopes thatthose in need will reachout and ask for help.
