YOUNG GOLFING SUCCESS
HERVEY BAY’S Taj Peek came home triumphant from the Wide Bay State Schools 13–19-year Queensland State Golf Championships recently.
The 14year-old played an incredible four days of competition at Palmer Resort Coolum to be named as the overall net winner of the championships.
Taj swung into action to beat 69 other competitors. What a fantastic achievement!
A Hervey Bay RSL Community Grant of $250 helped cover some of the costs of fuel, accommodation, and uniforms.
