A crowd of thousands is expected to turn outattheFreedomParkCenotaphinPialba to pause for a minute and remember those bravesoulswhofoughtfortheircountries. “We have a duty to honour the memory of those who paid the price for defending our freedom.”

Mr Tidyman will lead the service from 11am with a special address, followed by the laying of wreaths. Veterans and their guests will return to the Hervey Bay RSL for lunch following the service. Wristbands must be pre-purchased from Hervey Bay RSL Sub-Branch one week prior to the commemoration.
