BARBEQUES GALORE WIN NATIONAL TITLE

TAKING home the crowning glory, Barbeques Galore Hervey Bay was announced as Barbeques Galore Franchisee of the Year at the recent National Conference held on the Gold Coast. Owners David Carter and Noreen Brier were thrilled to receive such recognition, especially considering the store only opened in March 2019. “This is an award for Hervey Bay,” said Mr Carter. “Our success reflects the effort put in by our dedicated staff and the support from the people living in and visiting the area.” The award encompasses a number of criteria including sales, customer service, store layout and business management. Presently there are 37 Barbeques Galore Franchise Stores across Australia. The store came close to winning last year when it was a recipient of a Performance Excellence Award, placing them as a finalist for the Franchisee of the Year Award, but this year was a taste of sweet success. “We endeavour to meet our customers’ needs, providing specialised advice backed up with proven product,” Mr Carter explained. “We are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that our customers have a product that will fulfill and hopefully exceed their expectations.” Mr Carter also owns the Bundaberg Barbeques Galore store, which won this award in 2019. “With both award winning stores, we can provide great service in barbecues, smokers, outdoor furniture, wood heating and all the accessories across a wide area.” “We live, work and relax here and are committed to contributing to the region’s future growth and prosperity.”
