Kevin Casmen Williamson was born on January 12, 1986, to Emmanuella Suzette Griffin Elrod and the late George Keith Williamson, Sr in Memphis, Tennessee. Kevin confessed his belief in Jesus Christ and was baptized by his grandfather, Reverend Ernest W. Williamson, at Woodlawn Missionary Baptist Church in Brownsville, Tennessee. He later joined the Saint Paul Baptist Church where he sang in the youth choir. He attended Kirby Middle School and Kirby High School where he was known for his intense love for fashion and his ability to light up any room. With his electric personality, Kevin established his place as a dear friend and confidant to many throughout his Professionally,lifetime.
Kevin was known and respected for his unique ability to deliver a topnotch experience to customers of each establishment where he served. As a server, bartender, and trainer he won numerous awards for his hospitality and exceptional customer service. He often received glowing comments from satisfied customers on the yelp.com website and was often referred to as Memphis’ BEST bartender! Throughout his career, he was employed by Applebee’s, Cracker Barrel, Cheddar’s, Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Logan’s Roadhouse.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his mother, Emmanuella Suzette Eldrod (Larry); one brother, George Keith Williamson, Jr.; one sister, Miana Zari Williams; one nephew, Jaxson Keith Williamson; one niece, Madison Yvette Emma Bowen; and a host of other relatives and friends who will celebrate his loving legacy forever.
Socially, Kevin was a connoisseur of fashion. He was a devout fan of the Kardashian family and a faithful watcher of any show that contained “The Real Housewives of…” in its name! Whenever there was a televised awards show, he could be found in front of the screen giving his critique on all of the pre-show fashions. He was also an incredible dancer whose gift was widely recognized in local competitions. To his close friends, he was known as Intrigue Andrews St. James by the House of St. James Dupree.
Kevin passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, George K. Williamson, Sr.; his paternal grandparents: Reverend Ernest Williamson and Ruby Ann Tuggle Williamson; and his maternal grandparents: Walter C. Griffin, II and Bettye J. Brent Griffin.
