Family TribuTes

TO OUR BELOVED SON

A thousand words won’t bring you back. We know because we’ve tried! Neither will a thousand tears. We know because we’ve cried!

Kevin, your parents loved you Much more than words could say! We’re grateful for the loving memories That shall NEVER fade away!

~ Your Parents ~

TO OUR BROTHER-COUSIN

Life is full of mysteries that no one can explain. But I know some day, somewhere We’ll surely meet again.

Until we do, I’ll find the strength To live through each new day. Grateful for the happy years before you went away. ~ Wayne ~

TO OUR DEAR BROTHER

Time cannot erase the sorrow and pain that we all feel, Nor can it make things better Or force our hearts to heal.

Time is now a measure of the days since you’ve been gone, Of getting by the best we can, And trying to be strong.

Time should mend a broken heart. At least that’s what they say! But time will never change the fact that our brother is gone away.

We Love You, Kevin

~ Your Siblings ~

Life reflecTions

Kevin Louis Thomas was born to Louis Hines and Icie Keys on February 23, 1970, in Memphis, Tennessee.

He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of his life at a young age and was diligent about showing God’s love to his fellow man throughout his lifetime. A product of the Memphis City Schools system, he graduated from Hamilton High School in 1988. He attended Mainstream Engineering Corp in Rock Ledge, Florida, where he earned a certification in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

Kevin was an entrepreneur who worked diligently to serve his clients with professionalism. He was also a known grill master and a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team. With his infectious personality, he possessed a unique gift for bringing life and laughter in any setting. He was known and widely respected as the “rock” of his family. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 30, 2022, at 4:12 a.m. in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Keys, and a niece, Regina Allen.

To cherish his memory, Kevin leaves his loving and devoted wife, Marilyn; a stepson, Tyran Phillips; his mother, Icie Keys; his father, Louis Hines; three sisters, Lisa (Shon) Holden, Marie Keys, and Elizabeth Keys; one brother, Maurice Keys; his “fur son” Sporty G.; a special cousin, Wayne Nesbit; and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will forever be impacted by his legacy.
