Want to find out more about living with Glaucoma? The Glaucoma Group hosted by HERIB meets bi-monthly and aims to provide advice, information and support to local people with glaucoma.

Looking Ahead Looking Ahead is a series of information sessions for those getting accustomed to their loss of vision.

Subscriptions are ÂŁ1.50 per person. (A lunch is available at an extra charge if booked in advance.)

The programme for 2014 is as follows: Wednesday 19 February David Harris from the International Glaucoma Association (provisional)

The sessions take place over a four week period and each week the focus is on a topic or barrier that a person with sight loss may face and will offer constructive advice to help maintain your independence, keep in touch, get around safely and understanding your eye condition. Wednesdays 1pm - 3pm at HERIB. Next start dates:

An Introduction to Visual Impairment (OCN Level One & Two)

This basic one day course is ideal for anyone working in a customer service or caring profession. It is aimed at widening knowledge of visual impairment in order to be able to provide a higher quality of service to customer and clients. Next Level 1 & 2 Course Date: February 17th 2014
