TOWN MANAGER POSITION The Town of Clayton is seeking candidates for the position of Town Manager. Clayton is located five miles south of Danville, Indiana and approximately 7 miles west of Plainfield, Indiana. The Town Manager will be the administrative head and economic development coordinator for the town. The town council prefers the successful candidate have a minimum of a bachelors’ degree but is not required. The town manager works primarily at the Clayton Town Hall and attends meetings of the town council. It is a full time, exempt, salaried position starting at $42,000 with vacation benefits negotiable.
