BRAND

Munch Club is a casual dining restaurant serving a mix of Western and comfort food.

The dishes offered are not “heavy” or “fancy food” that’s only for special occasions.

Instead, they are ready-to-eat meals that are fun and perfect for everyday visits.

SPACE

Located in Pakuwon City Mall 3 on the Ground Floor, Munch Club features three distinct areas: an indoor terrace, an indoor main area, and an outdoor section.

The existing site utilizes high ceilings and large glass windows, oriented directly towards the view of the Pakuwon City complex.

Positioned at a corner, it offers the added advantage of visibility for visitors going up or down the escalator.

CONCEPT

The main target market for Munch Club is Gen Z to Millennials. At this age range, people generally prefer food that is quick, tasty, and affordable.

To reach this target, the interior design needs to be fun, energetic, approachable, youth-friendly, with attractive color schemes and an artsy touch.

Bonami Bakery, Simpang Darmo Sby.

Site : Jl. Simpang Darmo Permai Selatan II, Surabaya.

Scope : Initial Layou, Design, Supervision.

BRAND

Bon Ami is a bakery store that established since 1989. It’s name taken from French, means “Friend.” This feeling is what Bon Ami aims to bring to every outlet, always ready to warmly welcome its visitors.

SPACE

Located at the corner of the street, connected building to the restaurant. It has a low ceiling on existing and an angled room orientation. It offers good visibility due to its direct view from the main road.

CONCEPT

The target to be achieved is to update the outlet while preserving its classic charm and existing unique elements. Most visitors are long-time customers, including families and seniors. To attract younger visitors, the outlet requires a fresh look.

BRAND

A coffee brand originating from Surabaya, with a mission to provide a friendly, enjoyable coffee shop that fit to city workers and the community. SCAN HERE FOR THE RESULT

CONCEPT SPACE

The shop has an existing long shape extending to the back, with two zones, an outdoor front area and indoor area.

Presenting a coffee shop that is comfortable for both work and gathering. The interior design is simple yet functional, reflecting the lifestyle of city workers.

Touches of concrete, neutral colors, and a warm café atmosphere create an enjoyable experience for visitors at Titik Koma.

KOMA MEDAN LAYOUT

The existing design extends long to the back, with a building width of only 4,2 meters. The coffee shop has a capacity of 45 people (more if stools are added). The indoor area is primarily used for working or Work From Coffee (WFC). There is also an outdoor area designated for smoking, featuring a variety of different furniture.

Threelogy is a humble coffee shop originating from Surabaya. It offers delicious coffee flavors and a variety of main dishes with special recipes. The philosophy of Threelogy is that “a cup of coffee can connect anything and anyone around us”.

SPACE

A small modern shop building, with an area of approximately 11 meters in length and 4 meters in width. Additionally, the existing conditions include a bar table and cabinets that are already installed in the location (from the previous owner).

CONCEPT

The impression that the café aims to create is “Raw Design.” Due to space limitations, the owner’s desire is to complete the existing work without adding excessive elements. The goal is to create a calm space for conversation while enjoying the food and beverages served. On the other hand, with the “raw” concept, we can focus on providing quality details and the use of basic materials.

We Covered The wall with mirror, so the small area behind feels more spacious. And it can be used for people to look in the mirror before going to toilet.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Playing with shape on the furniture.

“Even in a small space, we want to create a flexible room configuration, so visitors can sit and arrange the seating themselves based on their needs”.

“The stool is made from birch plywood, which gives a natural impression. This material was chosen because it has fine grain and wood patterns.”

“Instead of making a stiff block-shaped stool, here we tried to cut it slightly diagonally, it gives more fluid impression.”

“You can use it as a seperate stool. For two, four, or a group, combine based on your need.”

The Raw Looks concept present in the space is expressed through the materials used. Most of the wooden materials in the area utilize “Birch Plywood.”

Another element used is in the shelving area, which is made from hollow stainless steel. Some parts of the building’s floor are finished with a coating of bare cement.
