Save the Date! - HHF 2024 Tea Party

Helping Her Foundation will like to sincerely thank you once again for supporting our ongoing initiative to combat period poverty and remove the taboo surrounding menstruation in Trinidad and Tobago. The Foundation is currently in the process of adopting more sustainable products to be distributed however many of the women and girls we support do not have at least one of the resources mentioned which does in fact limit what products we can provide.

FUNDRAISING TEA PARTY

Our third annual tea party was nothing short of a resounding success!

After months of planning and tireless execution by the our committee, the chatter and excitement as one walked into the beautifully decorated, fully soldout venue was a clear reflection of our ongoing teamwork.

Sighs of awe could be heard throughout the audience when Andre Comeo opened with his serenading violin, followed by guitarist Nigel Rojas strumming his guitar beautifully and Aurora Tardieu singing classic songs heartily to the crowd. Each table with colleagues and friends sitting together and anticipating winning a prize added to the room’s buzzing excitement when the door prizes were being presented. The fashion show was the talk of the day as volunteer models strut their stuff, fiercely and passionately wearing the most gorgeous pieces from local designers such as Kitanilly, KdG, Wadada Movement and Bene Caribe who happily sponsored their designs to contribute to the chic, elegant aesthetic of the tea party. Without Nigel Celestine, the full coordination of the fashion show would not have been possible.

The success of our event would not have been possible without every single individual and corporate who have supported, and continue to support our organisation. With donations received we are able to continue combating period poverty in Trinidad and Tobago by increasing our distribution capacity and launching our Mobile Pad Bank Project.
