WOMEN'S RIGHTS

We participated in a Women's Rights session at St. Jude's Home for Girls in Belmont in early March.

We were invited to do so by the Rotaract Club of Diego Martin.

Also in March, we attended ( for the second time) the campaign launch for "End Period Poverty" led by AMCO. We were invited to participate in this

POSTPONEMENT OF TEA PARTY

In April 2020, we made the decision to cancel our Annual Fundraiser due to the restrictions and health protocols due to Covid-19.

INDIVIDUALS The pandemic brought along with it a high level of unemployment and an even further set back for those who were already experiencing hard times.

We therefore had an increase in requests for sanitary napkins (along with other items) and we were able to supply an additional 1434 products.

QUARTERLY DONATIONS Our quarterly donation continue to the following shelters: - St. Dominic's Children's Home - CREDO Sophia House for Girls - Swaha Vishok Bhauan Children's Home We are eager to add a fourth shelter to our list hopefully by the end of next year (but this is dependent on our fundraising event/s and their success in 2021.)
