We then descend and head for the historic village of Luss and to the pier where a fleet of rib boats will take everyone on a fun ride on Loch Lomond and an impromptu stop on one of the islands for a local gin or beer.

BARNBOUGLE CASTLE

Located on a sea peninsula on the Firth of Forth is Barnbougle Castle, private man-cave for the 5 th Early of Roseberry, the breeder of over 700 winning racehorses and was also the UK Prime Minister in 1894! The castle looks like something from a Bond Movie and here is where we will spend most of the day

Lunch will take the form of a rustic barbecue, complete with rustic furniture, theming, Haybales, firepits, rugs etc.

FORAGING, FIELDSPORTS AND GIN MAKING

These 2 wonderful fieldsports will provide lasting memories for all as they are each hosted by characterful professional who will indulge the group in their passion and introduce everyone to a variety of dogs and birds of prey.

It will be springtime so a good time for nature’s bounty, and so there will be a plentiful supply of berries etc. …all perfect for the afternoon’s plans!

Hosted in the largest library in the Castle, we will start with some words of wisdom from a Gin Making expert, before the group is split into smaller groups and go on to create their very own Makita Gin, possibly called “GINovation 25”

(Gin will be bottled in personalised bottles and bespoke packaging)

THE CITY SLICKING BEGINS

Our transfer from the castle to the city will take the form of 2 classic, red double deckers, each with the Makita name on them and the guides set to introduce the historic city of Edinburgh to the guests before arriving at their hotel in the heart of the old town AND SOME TIME TO CHILL

A short walk down the Royal Mile will take them to their pub for the evening
