6 and 7 Age Group Schedule June 14th - 17th: Talent Week, Memorial
Campers will rehearse, make props and backdrops, then perform their talents in the Bandshell Thursday - Join us for the final performance!
June 21st - 24th: Get Active!, Memorial
We’ll be getting active playing frisbee golf, rounds of kickball, soccer, softball and swimming of course!
June 28th - July 1st: Water Week, Memorial Sprinkler obstacle courses, watercolor paintings, beach ball relay races and swimming at the pool.
July 5th - 8th: Explore Helena, Memorial We’ll be taking walking field trips; swimming, riding waterslides, taking carousel rides and cool off from the summer heat by catching a movie.
July 12th - 15th: Groovy 60’s, Memorial Campers will enjoy the greatest hits of the 60’s: Making lava lamps, chocolate fondue, 60’s karaoke, and of course a sixties staple - TIE DYE!
July 19th - 22nd: Pickleball & Golf, Barney
We’ll be mastering the sport of pickleball and taking walking field trips to Bill Roberts Golf Course.
July 26th - 29th: Truck Week, Barney
Come inside the Bookmobile, try on the Firefighter’s gear, watch the Urban Forestry bucket truck climb high into the trees. We’re learning about trucks!
Aug. 2nd - 5th: Science Week, Barney
Can you eat slime? Build a rocket out of a bottle? What exactly is elephant toothpaste? We’ll get to the bottom of serious science questions this week.
Aug. 9th - 12th: Wilderness Week, Barney Campers go on bug hunts, make sustainable crafts, learn about food preservation and more!
