PROJECT PROPOSAL

INTRODUCTION

ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE 2023 Every two years, an international group of architects, artists, and creative professionals working across multiple disciplines investigate the fundamental topics of time, space and existence. By bringing together a diverse group of participants working across disciplines, the European Cultural Centre aims at stimulating an exchange among architects, universities, legendary masters, emerging studios, established global practices, designers, artists, photographers, developers, and engineering companies, who together can have a crucial role in shaping the future of our living.

ORGANIZATION

The ECC (European Cultural Centre Worldwide) is a non profit organization that since 2011 operates in the field of contemporary art, architecture and design. In Venice, Italy the ECC organizes two main exhibitions which run parallel to La Biennale di Venezia.

WHY?

SPS+ VALUE ALIGNMENT PURPOSEFUL, EMPOWERMENT, PROACTIVE We have an opportunity to utilize our skillsets for altruistic endeavors and raise awareness on a subject while still pushing our own professional development, building internal relationships, documenting our process, and elevating the firm on a global stage.

PROJECT GOALS 1. AMPLIFY PRESENCE - Purposeful actions through Raising Awareness and Publications Raising Awareness

By crafting a narrative which brings attention to issues faced by Indigenous Peoples (Navajo), we position SPS+ as a world leader in understanding Indigenous communities.

Publications

Global Visibility - The last exhibition reached 420,300 people via social media outreach, 150,700 people visiting their online/digital exhibition, and 300,200 people visited the exhibition sites in-person.

Interviews - The ECC holds interviews with those exhibiting and shares them via social media and their website.

Catalogue - In addition, the ECC compiles a booklet of all attendees, sharing their exhibition and additional information.

Can SPS+ become a bridge between underserved and often forgotten tribal communities and the general populace? Raising awareness for Indigenous Peoples is in line with SPS+’s vision in serving communities. We will focus on exploring topics and issues faced by the Navajo Nation, and indigineous people around the world with a focus on water sovereignty.
