Join us on our campus to experience the vibrant spirit of our community firsthand. That feeling is authentic — that is Hebron Christian Academy!
Head of School
We are a Christ-centered learning community focused on equipping minds, transforming hearts, and impacting culture.

HCA is a covenant school that embraces the total integration of faith and learning. Our students are challenged each week during Chapel, and daily in their Bible classes, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Our desire is for our students to grow into Christian leaders who are uniquely prepared to be a transforming influence in a rapidly changing world. We believe the most important thing we offer is the opportunity for spiritual growth.
Equipping future leaders to be a transforming influence on their culture for Christ.
At HCA, we believe the most important thing we offer is the opportunity for spiritual growth and development. We integrate a biblical worldview throughout every aspect of school life to better afford students the opportunity to discover and embrace God’s ultimate purpose for their lives. Through our weekly chapel services, students are led by their peers in a time of worship, and then taught the Word of God by leadership at our school or by leaders in our community.
We also have bi-monthly discipleship (D-groups) where students are placed into small groups led by an HCA staff member. During this time, the focus is to engage, pray, and build. They engage with one another by studying Scripture, praying together, and building relationships with staff and other students. We do not want a student to leave HCA without having heard about the redemptive work of Christ and how He can transform their lives.

Learning, modeling, and practicing servant leadership is essential to worldview and leadership development. Tangible evidence of placing the needs of others before self is expected. We encourage students to follow Christ’s example of leadership through servanthood. At Hebron Christian Academy, students will not only serve our local community, but we create opportunities for them to hear God’s calling to serve in the field of missions across the globe.

Hebron is committed to spreading the love of Jesus Christ in the local community, across our country, and throughout the world. Every year, students are challenged to reach the world for Christ, and we do that through partnerships with World Vision, Hunger to Hope, Village of Hope, Hebron Helps Hunger, the American Heart Association, and yearly mission trips within the United States and across the world.
HCA entered a strategic partnership with World Vision in 2022 and sponsored a village in Honduras by providing children with basic necessities. So far, HCA families have sponsored 137 children and changed their lives forever.
HCA has formed a bond with Orphanage Emmanuel in Honduras, sending five teams to the orphanage since the beginning of 2023 to serve and minister to the people.

We know our kids are not only receiving a strong academic education, but they are being taught truths and principles from God’s Word.

FAITH | EXCELLENCE | SERVICE | COMMUNITY | STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
Building, enhancing, and maintaining community are integral to all aspects of school life. We promote strong relationships with each other and all stakeholders through respect and acceptance of one another. We embrace and encourage parent participation and open communication between the school and the home.
At Hebron Christian Academy, we establish a strong academic foundation and then build upon that through experiences that support the formation of the whole student, fostering emotional and spiritual development.
FAITH | EXCELLENCE | SERVICE | COMMUNITY | STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
Because we understand that learning and growth occurs in a variety of formats and environments, we offer engaging activities for our student body. We desire to create an environment for student development and leadership capacity, support students in the pursuit of their passions, connect students with one another, enhance creative competence, and increase the overall sense of community and enjoyment.
Our Student Life program exists to create environments and opportunities for our students to connect through worship and service, as they grow in Christ. Whether it’s worshiping in weekly chapels, connecting with others on retreats, participating in regular Discipleship Groups, serving our community, going on trips, or personally growing in their relationship with Christ, our students’ lives are forever changed through Student Life at HCA.
Hebron’s Lower School includes K4 through 5th grade. We offer a challenging academic curriculum, with a biblical worldview, that includes math, language arts, science, history, music, physical education, art, library skills, STEM, Spanish, and technology. There also are many ways for students to grow and be challenged outside the classroom.
Our aim is to provide a strong academic program within a nurturing environment for our students, where every child can feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
“We know God created each student as an academic being, a social being, an emotional being, and also a spiritual being. At Hebron Christian Academy, our desire is to develop each area so our children are prepared for the world in which we live.
Cayce Waters, Lower School Principal
Hebron Christian Academy’s K4 program is designed to focus on whole child development. Our curriculum allows students to learn through play in a developmentally appropriate atmosphere, while preparing them for the academic rigor and structure of kindergarten. With class sizes of 14 students, children receive large and small group instruction, with independent time in the classroom to work on fine motor skills.
The K4 schedule includes a different “specials” class each day of the week and multiple trips to the playground per day. Our K4 teachers hold both state and ACSI certifications, and the curriculum is aligned with State of Georgia K4 standards with the addition of Biblical integration.
Hebron’s K4 program is five days a week from 8:10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Before and after school care is available. In order to enroll, students must be four years old by Sept. 1.
HCA’s Upper School consists of grades 6-12, which participate in specialized programs designed to provide students with a Christcentered learning community that challenges them to realize their greatest potential for transforming their world and impacting their culture.
We offer upper school students an expanded college preparatory curriculum, which includes 24 honors and accelerated courses, 21 advanced placement courses, and 19 dual enrollment courses on campus. (See Right).
Believing that all children are uniquely gifted, HCA offers a learning environment that challenges, nurtures, and strengthens intellectually, spiritually, and physically. HCA is a member of council with CESA, fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), as well as by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Hebron athletics offers a wide variety of sports for boys and girls at all school levels, competing in the GHSA. We long for our student-athletes to be leaders in competition, in the classroom, and in their communities. Our coaches teach the fundamentals of their sport, encouraging strong competition, while working with each player to help them reach their potential. Most importantly, we desire to help our students grow in character, sportsmanship, and skill in a Christ-centered environment.

Youth Lions Community Sports exists to offer Youth Sports for K4 through sixth grade students in our community. Attending HCA is not a requirement to be part of our league. We are committed to partnering with our community to provide quality programs for children to grow in character, player development, and team building, in a Christ-centered environment.
The fine arts are a key component of our student’s education experience at Hebron Christian Academy. Our goal is to instill in our students an appreciation for the arts as they recognize that their abilities are indeed a gift from God. HCA’s thriving and award-winning fine arts program offers students numerous opportunities to develop their God-given gifts and build a solid artistic foundation through music, performing arts, and visual arts in a Christ-centered environment.
From a lower school student creating a self-portrait, to a high school drama student waiting for the curtain to rise; from a middle school band student learning their first scales, to an honors vocalist singing in the All-State choir, excellence is always the goal, and all to the glory of God!
At Hebron Christian Academy, we believe STEM is an educational philosophy with a corresponding pedagogy. The philosophy is that students learn best when artificial boundaries between disciplines are removed. The pedagogy is that the project is the vehicle for learning, not simply for the application of it.
With a STEM Center for Innovation on both the Upper School and Lower School campuses, every teacher, K4 through 12th grade, can collaborate with Dr. Brad Christensen and Beckie Lincoln to develop a STEM project to be the educational vehicle for a specific lesson. We provide a space, the tools, and materials for enhancing instruction through hands-on activities.
J-Term courses provide students with opportunities to experience new passions and areas of studies. These courses are designed to be academic, professional, or exploratory in nature. Each year, our staff and members of the community cover a wide range of subjects and areas of interest where students are provided with the opportunity to see how they can use their God-given talents in their lives.
All students are required to complete an internship during either their junior or senior J-Term. The internship requirement creates an opportunity for students to experience a professional work environment in an area they are interested in pursuing as a career. The internship process provides connections for the students that could create opportunities for students to discover God’s calling on their lives.
J-Term is a two-week abbreviated semester in January where students have the opportunity to participate in exploratory and experiential learning opportunities.
Our goal in J-Term is to provide students with travel opportunities focused on education, exploration, and ministry. These opportunities could be local, domestic, or international, and are coordinated by the faculty sponsor overseeing the trip.
We hope students develop a deeper and more meaningful sense of community between their teachers and peers all while discovering how they can use their God-given gifts and talents after high school. J-Term challenges students to explore both traditional and nontraditional areas of study to further our school mission of equipping minds, transforming hearts, and impacting culture. Our goal with J-Term is to give our students opportunities to be challenged academically, professionally, and experimentally.
We celebrate God's unique design and rejoice in His goodness displayed in and throughout the lives of our students. We recognize that each student is unique and contributes individual talents and skill sets into the classroom. HCA understands that learning and thinking differences may impact how a student receives, understands, and produces information.
We believe all students should be able to access learning and have built our services to meet those educational needs. Due to this belief, we are committed to accepting students whose profiles fall within our current services of support to assist and develop confident and empowered learners.
Our Enrichment team works with families to build a learning plan that addresses each student’s learning profile. The intent is to level the playing field so that students can flourish in a demanding academic environment by showing what they know, understand, and are able to do.
Our Enrichment Services include access to our Enrichment Center, Enrichment electives/courses, and provision of accommodations.
The mission of the technology department is to challenge and engage both teachers and students by providing quality educational programs, relevant technology, and support services in a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment in order to prepare all students to be lifelong learners, responsible digital citizens, and creative contributing members of a global society.

We believe that providing one device for each student and teacher enhances classroom instruction and enables the students to extend their learning experiences outside the classroom.
In each classroom, teachers and students have access to robust Wi-Fi, all of the tools provided by Google Workspace for Education, and a host of cloud-based tools to enhance the learning experience, as well as a 75-inch interactive panel, allowing them to display and interact with lessons and materials.
HCA’s collaboration with Google enhances the learning experience by providing students with user-friendly, adaptable, and secure cloud-based tools. Through Google’s suite of applications, including Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Sites, students can seamlessly work together in real time. This partnership also prioritizes inclusivity and security, offering customizable accessibility settings that cater to each student’s individual learning needs and preferences.
HCA partners with SAGE Dining Services to offer a fully catered lunch for every student and staff member. SAGE’s catered dining is included with tuition and is locally sourced with fresh, seasoned food and produce for the best culinary experience possible.
Students and staff are provided healthy meal choices and professionally planned dietary options for those with food allergies, food aversions, or other dietary restrictions. SAGE works closely with our team to understand our students and their needs. While we encourage exposure to new foods, we also understand some students may need to work toward this gradually.
Hebron Christian Academy was established as a covenant school and continues to operate in that capacity. Our specific definition of a covenant school is that at least one parent/ guardian (preferably both) of each student applicant must provide a credible, written testimony giving clear evidence of his/her personal faith in Jesus Christ and be active in a local church.
We stand, without reservation, on the absolute truth of the Holy Bible and seek to interpret all of life and learning from the basis of the principles set forth in God’s Word. These convictions provide the framework for our educational program. In this framework, students develop their intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional, and social potential so that their lives will glorify God.
When your student’s application has been submitted, our screening committee will carefully review your materials. We will keep you informed about the receipt and completion of your application documents throughout the process. As a reflection of our individualized approach, the applicants selected to move forward in the admissions process will be scheduled for both a student and parent interview. This is a valuable opportunity for us to better understand your student and to discuss, in detail, the range of services and support we can provide.
