Hebe Haven Yacht Club organises some of the biggest yacht and dinghy races in Hong Kong. We are one of the most prominent yacht clubs in Asia providing first-class yacht racing and boating facilities for members. We work closely with local, international schools and organisations to offer training facilities and professional courses, including RYA accredited powerboat courses and Youth/Adult HKSF (The Sailing Federation of Hong Kong, China) courses.
Besides racing and regattas, Hebe Haven Yacht Club supports local charities through a number of our well-attended events which involve not only members, but also members of the public, the community, volunteers, sailors and non-sailors.
Our vision is to be the most friendly and welcoming yacht club for watersports lovers in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area.
• Description: This annual event is a major highlight of the Club and is the biggest in scale among all others, attracting sailors of all ages and skill levels. Participants race continuously for 24 hours to raise funds for local charities including Children’s Cancer Foundation, Treats, Ideal, Sailability Hong Kong and Sai Kung District Community Centre.

• Features: Includes various activities and entertainment for participants and spectators. Vendor and sponsor booths are also available.
• Description: A competitive regatta open to sailors from different clubs. It features multiple classes of boats and intense racing action.

• Features: The regatta features competitive racing in the scenic waters of Port Shelter with races are conducted over geometric courses, providing a challenging and engaging experience for participants. Is also a ranking event for several classes, making it an important competition for sailors aiming to improve their standing.
• Description: A series of races held on Saturdays throughout the summer. It provides a great opportunity for sailors to hone their skills in a competitive yet friendly environment. The series features a mix of geometric and island courses, offering diverse and challenging racing experiences.

• Features: Casual racing followed by social gatherings at the club.
• Description: Similar to the Summer Saturday Series, this series runs during the winter months and offers regular racing opportunities.

• Description: A series of races held during the typhoon season, challenging sailors with more unpredictable weather conditions.

• Description: A popular regatta held in the scenic waters of Port Shelter and outlying islands. It attracts a wide range of participants and offers competitive racing.

• Features: Includes a prize-giving ceremony.
• Description: Bart’s Bash is celebrated worldwide, with sailors from over 80-90 countries participating each year. The event is inclusive, welcoming sailors of all ages and abilities. Classes include Sailability’s 2.4mR and Hansa 303s, as well as HHYC’s Optimists, Fusions, RS Fevas, and RS Quests.

• Features: Includes social events and a prize-giving ceremony. This year it will be incorporated into “Boogie by the Bay” so it is expected to be a social fundraising event with live band entertainment to help fundraise for The Development Fund for Youth Sailing.
• Description: annual event designed to promote and celebrate women’s participation in sailing. The festival typically spans a week, offering a variety of activities both on and off the water. The event includes taster sessions on dinghies and J/80 keelboats, making it accessible for women and girls of all skill levels. Evening talks and discussions with experienced sailors provide insights and inspiration.
• Date: 27 May – 1 June 2025
• Features: the event is part of World Sailing’s global initiative called “Steering the Course”. This initiative was launched by World Sailing in 2021 to promote and increase the participation of women and girls in sailing worldwide.
• Description: comprises two main races: an Island Race on Saturday and a Pursuit Race on Sunday. It is open to different classes of boats, making it an inclusive event for the sailing community.
