HISTORY OF THE 24 HOUR DINGHY RACE

The Hebe Haven Yacht Club 24 Hour Dinghy Race was established by members of HHYC in 2002 to raise money for Charities that provide assistance to youth with various disabilities. The first event raised over HK$750,000 with 30 boats taking part in the event.
The Race takes place in the waters directly outside the Club.
School, Corporate, Charity, Social and International Teams all compete to sail the most laps around a course in 24 hours, all whilst raising funds for the Charities.
To date we have raised over HK$13.4 Million
