U23S REPORT NOTICEBOARD
Our U23s fell to a tough defeat on the road at the weekend in the Northern Alliance.
Gary Henry's side travelled to an in-form Willington Quay Saints on Saturday, off the back of a penalty shootout defeat to Newcastle Independent Cabrito in the Bill Gardner Cup Round of 16.

Willington, who sat one place above Hebburn going into the game, had won 11 of their last 12 matches. The Hornets went behind on 17 minutes through Joe Connor, before Sean Conway made it two just moments later.
Willington added a third through Connor with 33 on the clock, and Mackenzie Sharp made it 4-0 on 36 minutes.
The result leaves Hebburn seventh in the table, though Henry's men have several games in hand on those above.
Next up, the U23s travel to league leaders Gosforth Bohemians on Saturday afternoon (2:30pm kick-off).
Their next home game is on Saturday, March 18 against North Shields Athletic at The Green Energy Sports Ground.
Entry is free and the firstteam are away to Long Eaton United, so be sure to get along if you can't support Daniel Moore's side on the road.
U23s striker Harry Loughlin, who also plays for the U18s, made his debut off the bench for the first-team last week away to Carlton Town. The forward made his second appearance last weekend against Consett and almost got on the scoresheet with an acrobatic effort.
